The Sunriver Aquatics and Recreation Center (or SHARC) is hosting duck races and underwater egg dives for kids at 9am on Saturday, March 31 2018. Children will be grouped into age brackets for the underwater egg dives. The cost is $10 for the duck race or egg dive or $15 for both. You can decorate your duck at the Sharpie Station from 5:30 to 9pm on March 30 or 8-9am on March 31.
Urban Growth Boundary Public Meeting
The Urban Growth Boundary Steering Committee will hold a public meeting on Thursday, March 19 to considering recommendations brought forward from the three UGB advisory committee (Housing committee, Employment Committee, and Boundary Committee). These recommendations will address how to provide for housing that will accommodate a wide range of needs, taking into consideration our changing demographics, and how to provide land for businesses for growing employment needs. The UGB will also recommend if additional lands should be brought into the city limits based on growth projections. The public is invited to attend and is encouraged to comment.
